Kurset ble arrangert på Ajer ungdomsskole på Hamar. Høsten 1981 flyttet klubben aktivitetene til bomberommet i Ankerskogen Svømmehall hvor klubben hadde tilhold resten av 80-tallet.<br /> <br /> På 90-tallet byttet klubben lokaler og Midtbyen- og Storhamar barneskole ble tatt i bruk. Nye Grevløkka skole på Hamar ble benyttet inntil nylig før klubben flyttet til Børstad ungdomsskole.<br /> <br /> Judoklubbene i Hamar, [[Elverum Judoklubb|Elverum]] og [[Brumunddal Judoklubb|Brumunddal]] hadde et utstrakt samarbeid på 80-tallet som omfattet treningssamlinger, aktivitetslederkurs, lokale kretsmesterskap, Mjøs-Cup og gjeste-trening klubbene imellom. Det ble også avviklet en rekke andre sosiale aktiviteter i forbindelse med gradering og semesteravslutning. Hamar judoklubb hadde et høyt aktivitetsnivå på hele 80-tallet og det årlig medlemsantallet lå på 80-120 aktive utøvere.<br /> <br /> Hamar Judoklubb sto som arrangør av NM i Judo for menn 24. og 25. mars 1984. Stevnet ble gjennomført i den gamle ishallen på Storhamar og var en generalprøve før Europamesterskapet for menn, som ble arrangert 13. – 15. mai 1985. Stevnet ble gjennomført i samarbeid med Norges Judoforbund med over 130 deltakere fra 30 ulike nasjoner. Stevnene ble gjennomført uten uhell av større slag og klubben fikk ros av judoforbundet for et bra gjennomførte arrangement.</div>
